Hillsdale has now been in the family since the 1920's. Harold and Betty's grandchildren are the fourth generation to have lived on the property.
Features
Natural beauty, a magnificent country lifestyle, rural heritage, aboriginal artefacts, old farm wares, bush walking trails, large bush fernery, farm stay cottage and pick your own oranges.
Activities
Hillsdale has a large citrus orchard with several thousand trees and fruit is available as "pick your own" all year round.
A large bush fernery has been developed over a number of
years and is now on of the main attractions of this beautiful property.
We also have a large collection of rural memorabilia and aboriginal
artefacts found in the Bulga area including tools used by local aboriginals. This
collection is on display in the main homestead.
There are some six kilometres of walking trails so you can explore mostly untouched virgin forests along Milbrodale Creek and it's mountain shelves.
Tours are available for groups with morning and afternoon tea provided. Bookings are essential for all tours.
Accommodation
The original farmhouse offers Bed & Breakfast accommodation. This cottage has one double and two single rooms offering accommodation for up to five people. the large family kitchen has all conveniences.
