About Hunter HarvestHunter Harvest Network Inc is an agribusiness and agritourism project established in the Hunter Valley of NSW and launched at the Tocal Field Days 2002. The project aims to enhance agricultural and food production in the Hunter Valley by encouraging boutique product development, marketing and promotion of the Hunter River Valley as a destination for agritourism. The project is expanding across the Hunter Valley. The catchments of the Hunter River, Paterson River, Williams River and Goulburn River and the Wollombi Brook (the Cockfighter) provide a diverse and interesting range of food production, agriculture and tourism. For gourmet food and fine wine from boutique suppliers come to Hunter Harvest producers first. The network comprises: The network is developing a series or tourist trails covering the Hunter
Valley with each trail designed to provide visitors with a unique experience in rural
Australia, one that identifies the best growers and producers linked to accommodation
providers and scenic attractions. The concept is based on making touring the Hunter Valley
easy and fun - we take the worry out of your travel planning by providing a complete one

The project is jointly funded by the Department of Transport and Regional Services through the Regional Partnerships Program, the Department of State and Regional Development, Dungog Shire Council, Maitland City Council, Muswellbrook Shire Council and Singleton Council.
